WCL Group is Hiring a Procurement Specialist II Near Rio Rancho, NM
- Prepares purchasing documents and change order documents.
- Reviews purchase requests for pertinent and accurate information, prepares and processes purchase orders for materials and equipment, and e-qualification of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintains proper documentation of the procurement processes such as purchase orders, work orders, and supplier agreements.
- Complies with all applicable processes and procedures.
- Subject matter expert for all procurement software
- Assists with the prequalification process for all bidders.
- Develops bidders list for approval, tracking, and administration.
- Supports the vendor selection and notification process.
- Supports the supplier qualification process.
- Maintains project procurement status logs, vendor databases, and correspondence.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Buying, Sourcing, etc.
- Closeout experience desirable
- Proficiency in Oracle and Excel
- Forensics ability for project analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Exceptional organization and coordination skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related preferred.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred.
- Apics Certification preferred.
- Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech, or construction environments preferred.
- Experience working on projects in a construction/tool install / project environment preferred
- Project management experience is desirable
